Mr. Asenjo’s practice has focused on civil and commercial litigation and arbitration as well as administrative proceedings.

He has completed the 1st phase of the Doctoral Program (Ph.D.) of the Procedural Law Department of Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain (2006).
He is a member of the Chilean Bar Association (2005).
In recent years, he has been recognized as a leading attorney in litigation and arbitration in several publications, such as: Chambers and Partners (Band 3, 2017).
Before joining Gutiérrez, Waugh, Jimeno & Asenjo Abogados, he was an associate attorney at Carey y Cía. (1997 – 2003) and Philippi, Yrarrázaval, Pulido & Brunner, now Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría (2003 – 2006).
