Mr. Jimeno’s practice has focused on civil and commercial litigation, arbitration and the resolution of financial, insurance and construction disputes.

He was appointed member of the Council of the Chilean Copper Commission (“COCHILCO”) (2006 – 2008) by the President of the Republic. He is currently a member of the Boards of Directors of health and insurance companies.
In recent years, he has been recognized as a leading attorney in litigation and arbitration in several publications, such as: Chambers and Partners, (Band 3, 2017).
Before joining Gutiérrez, Waugh, Jimeno & Asenjo Abogados, he was an associate attorney at Estudio Etcheberry (1991 – 1998), Carey y Cía. (1998 – 2003), Pillsbury Whinthrop Shaw Pittman LLP (San Francisco, California, USA, 2001 – 2002), and Philippi, Yrarrázaval, Pulido & Brunner, now Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría (2003 – 2006).
